Procedure
- The Victorian Government has set yearly greenhouse gas reduction targets for our energy retailers, which result in product discounts.
- To reach these goals, energy retailers must purchase Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates equal to the amount of greenhouse gas that has been reduced or barred from entering the atmosphere.
- One certificate means one tonne of greenhouse gas reduced. There is no process involved as such, simply avail the discounts and government incentives to save on your energy bills.
